Here are NINE important things to note about the Ondo State BECE exam timetable 2024.

  1. Exam Dates: The exam will take place over a period of 8 days, starting from July 2nd and ending on July 9th, 2024. Students should be prepared to sit for exams on each of these days.
  2. Time Management: To avoid latecomer penalties, students should arrive at the exam venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. This allows time for registration, seat allocation, and settling in before the exam begins.
  3. Exam Duration: Each subject exam will last for 2 hours, allowing students sufficient time to answer all questions and complete the exam.
  4. Calculation of Results: The student’s overall performance will be calculated based on their scores in all subjects. This means that students must perform well in all subjects to achieve a good overall result.
  5. Admission to Secondary School: The BECE exam results will determine admission to secondary school. Students must perform well to secure admission to their preferred secondary school.
  6. No Makeup Exams: There will be no opportunity to retake missed exams. Students must ensure they attend all exams and arrive on time to avoid missing out.
  7. Exam Rules: Students are expected to follow all exam rules and regulations, including no talking, no sharing of materials, and no leaving the exam hall until the exam is complete.
  8. No Electronic Devices: To prevent cheating, students are not allowed to bring electronic devices such as phones, calculators, or smartwatches into the exam hall. Any student found with an electronic device may be disqualified.
  9. Verification of Results: To ensure accuracy and fairness, results will be verified by the Ondo State Ministry of Education before being released to students.
