Oyo State Educational Board has released its final Examination timetable for 2024 Oyo state Joint Promotion Exam for Candidates in SSS1 and SSS2 Class of the 2023/2024 Academic Session
Oyo State 2024 joint promotion examination for SS1 and SS2 will begin on July 22nd and run until 1st August, 2024. Oyo State Joint Promotion Examination is a mandatory assessment which evaluates students’ academic performance in Senior Secondary School 1 & 2 (SS1 & SS2) and serves as a promotional assessment to determine readiness for Senior Secondary School 2 & 3 (SS2 & SS3) respectively or if they need additional support to repeat current classes.
The Oyo State Joint SS2 Promotion Exam, held at the end of the academic year, involves written papers and practical assessments. Students who pass are promoted to next class (SS2 or SS3), while those failing may repeat SSS1/SSS2.
