Latest update on External WAEC Examination Schedule 2024. WAEC has released the timetable for the 2024 WAEC GCE (NOV/DEC) Second Series also called External Waec Examinations. The exams are scheduled to commence on Friday, 25th October, 2024 and conclude on Friday, 20th December, 2024.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) General Certificate of Education (GCE) exam is a regional assessment that evaluates the knowledge and skills of secondary school students in West Africa. Conducted twice a year (first and second series) and this exam provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate their academic abilities and achieve a recognized qualification. The exam offers a second opportunity for candidates who were unable to achieve their desired results in the first series, providing a valuable chance for academic improvement.
The Timetable for 2024 External (NOV/DEC) WAEC Examination is out Now. The West African Senior School Certificate Exam for Private Candidates starts Friday, October 25 and hold till Friday 20th December, 2024.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially published the 2024 General Certificate of Education (GCE) Examination Timetable for the November/December Second Series. The timetable is now available for download, and we urge all candidates to access it immediately to plan their preparation accordingly.
Dear candidates and stakeholders, please be advised that the 2024 WASSCE External Timetable has been modified in response to the Ondo Governorship Election scheduled for Saturday, 16th November, 2024. The updated timetable is now accessible and should be reviewed in conjunction with the original timetable.
The West African Senior School Certificate Examination for private/external candidates second series 2024 is now scheduled to commence on Friday 25th October and run till Friday, 20th December 2024.
